About RDN Labs
A hands-on research and development studio where complex systems are explored, built, and refined.
What This Lab Is
RDN Labs is a working environment for technical exploration and system development. It exists to support hands-on experimentation, prototyping, and applied research across a range of engineering disciplines.
Work here spans different stages of maturity—from exploratory proofs of concept to systems that are stable enough to be used, tested, and iterated on in real contexts. The emphasis is on understanding how things behave in practice.
Core Capabilities
Applied AI/ML
Hands‑on machine learning: embeddings, RAG systems, computer vision, prompt engineering, and other practical AI integrations.
Cloud & Systems Engineering
Designing scalable, resilient architectures on AWS, Azure, and GCP; infrastructure as code; containerization; and distributed systems patterns.
Full‑Stack & Device Integration
.NET, TypeScript, React, Node.js; mobile development with .NET MAUI; API design; and integrations with IoT and embedded devices.
How We Work
Every project starts with questions. We dive into the technical foundations, explore alternatives, and prototype quickly. We favor iterative loops—build, test, measure, refine—over big‑bang releases.
Documentation and transparency are fundamental. We share notes, diagrams, and code so the path forward is clear—for ourselves and for anyone following our work.
Relation to reidell.net
RDN Labs is affiliated with reidell.net. RDN Labs exists as a dedicated space under that umbrella for hands-on R&D work.
In practice: reidell.net serves as the stable home base, while RDN Labs is where experiments, prototypes, and technical writeups evolve over time.
